About the role

The Hatley lab at St. Jude Children’s Hospital seeks a fully funded postdoctoral position to study the mechanisms of cell reprogramming in pediatric embryonal tumors, specifically focusing on rhabdomyosarcoma. The successful candidate will leverage genetically engineered mouse models, patient-derived xenografts, and human and mouse tumor and primary cell lines to investigate the underlying pathobiology.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage genetically engineered mouse models to study cell reprogramming events in rhabdomyosarcoma
  • Utilize patient-derived xenografts and human and mouse tumor and primary cell lines to interrogate the pathobiology of pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma
  • Collaborate with other lab members to advance scientific understanding and career development

Requirements

  • Recent PhD or less than one year of postdoctoral research experience
  • Experience in mouse models, cell biology, and molecular biology is preferred
