About the Role

The Sarver Heart Center at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson is seeking multiple highly motivated candidates for full-time positions as Postdoctoral Research Associates in Dr. Hesham Sadek's laboratory. The lab focuses on cardiac metabolism, regeneration, and stem cell metabolism research.

Responsibilities

• Conduct studies related to mechanisms of genetic cardiomyopathies.
• Investigate mechanisms and therapeutics for induction of myocardial regeneration.

Requirements

• Organized, detail-oriented, and productive.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.

Qualifications

Prior research experience in molecular biology, clinical trials, drug discovery, or cardiovascular research is preferred but not required.
