About the role

The Sarver Heart Center at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson is seeking multiple full-time Postdoctoral Research Associates in Dr. Hesham Sadek's laboratory. The lab focuses on cardiac metabolism, regeneration, and stem cell metabolism research.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research projects related to mechanisms of genetic cardiomyopathies and myocardial regeneration.
• Participate in studies involving molecular biology, clinical trials, drug discovery, or cardiovascular research.
• Work independently and with other team members to achieve research goals.

Requirements

• Organized and detail-oriented skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior research experience in molecular biology, clinical trials, drug discovery, or cardiovascular research is preferred but not required.
