Duties & Responsibilities
Establish collaborations with UA colleagues within CMM and the Sarver Heart Center.
Participating in the development and conduct of innovative and significant research.
Bring extramural funding to support research projects.
Produce strong, peer-reviewed publications.
Provide instruction in professional, graduate, and undergraduate degree programs as assigned.
Participate in appropriate departmental events, including seminars, retreats, and meetings.
Participate in COM-T events.

Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated track record of distinction in teaching and/or research in an academic department of medicine or equivalent environment.
- Successful track record of working with trainees and students.
Preferred Qualifications
- Evidence of active scientific research, including peer-reviewed articles and extramural funding.
- Active extramural research funding.
