About the role
Texas A&M University's Department of Chemistry is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct independent and collaborative research in chemistry.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and disseminate research findings through group meetings, presentations, manuscripts, scientific publications, and periodic reports.
- Maintain current knowledge of scientific advancements by reviewing relevant literature and participating in scientific meetings, seminars, and other professional development activities.
- Provide guidance and technical support to laboratory team members and mentor students.
- Contribute to the development and preparation of grant proposals.
- Maintain laboratory software and hardware resources while ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Appropriate Ph.D. in Chemistry.
- Ability to work effectively, productively, and efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the lab.
