About the role
The School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to enhance the impact of, and opportunities within, Information Sciences and related disciplines. This position seeks to mentor scholars who have completed their doctoral work by July 1, 2025, with a focus on those preparing for tenure-stream assistant professor positions.
Responsibilities
- Seek to strengthen research, scholarship, engagement, and teaching portfolios.
- Teach one course per semester.
- Serve on at least one service committee.
Requirements
- Successfully completed doctoral work by July 1, 2025.
- Prepare for tenure-stream assistant professor positions.
Qualifications
- Strong research background in Information Sciences or related fields.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding scholars.
