About the role
The immediate PostDoc position is available to support Dr. Zhenguo Liu's lab, which investigates the effects of novel cardiovascular risk factors such as air pollution, gut microbes, inflammatory bowel diseases, and their impact on cardiovascular function and disease development. Particular emphasis is placed on oxidative stress and inflammation.Responsibilities
- Proficiency in handling rats and mice
- Collection, analysis, and interpretation of experimental data
- Presentation of data at national meetings
- Manuscript preparation
- Grant writing
Requirements
- Experience in cell culture techniques
- Experience in molecular biology (transfections, etc.)
- Experience in working with rats and mice
- Experience in maintaining a breeding colony
- PhD in biomedical sciences, molecular biology, or a related field
- Strong background in cardiovascular research
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Hands-on laboratory skills
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Effective communication and presentation skills
