Responsibilities

Design and execute experiments related to soil/plant microbiomes.

Analyze experimental data, write reports, make presentations to group meetings and conferences, prepare manuscripts for publication, contribute to proposal development.

Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the laboratory.

Develop collaboration on projects and attend professional development trainings.

Perform other duties as assigned by the PI.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in relevant disciplines including but not limited to:
  • Environmental Microbiology,
  • Ecology,
  • Molecular / Systems Biology,
  • Genetics / Genomics,
  • Soil Science,
  • Plant Biology,
  • Biogeochemistry,
  • Ecotoxicology,
  • Biotechnology,
  • Environmental Chemistry,
  • Environmental Engineering,
  • Bioinformatics.
