Postdoctoral Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Design, perform and analyze experiments to study the structure/function relationships of assigned proteins.
• Cloning and expression of proteins of interest.
• Purification of proteins in sufficient quantity to obtain crystals.
• Crystallization of proteins.
• Data collection and analysis.
• Preparation of data presentations and publications.
• Aid principal investigator with preparation of manuscripts.
• Aid principal investigator with preparation of grant proposals.
• Assist with laboratory management of stocks, supplies, and equipment.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related field.
• Some experience in area of specialization preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
