About the role
The Fuccillo Lab at the University of Pennsylvania seeks postdoctoral fellows to contribute to projects exploring the control of actions by rodent cortico-basal ganglia circuits and the impact of genetic neurodevelopmental disorders on these processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in vivo recording and imaging during behavior
- Develop and apply quantitative behavioral models
- Perform ex vivo biophysical measurements of neural circuit function
- Utilize molecular, genetic, and viral tools
Qualifications
- Strong background in in vivo or in vitro physiological analyses
- Preferred skills: in vivo extracellular recording, in vivo calcium imaging, large-scale data analysis, acute slice electrophysiology
- PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree required
