About the role
The Maxwell Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral fellow to study early detection and early cancer development in patients with inherited risk to cancer. In collaboration with other investigators within the Basser Center for BRCA at Penn Medicine, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, the fellow will lead projects studying the clinical utility of multi-modal cancer early detection tests and early cancer development in individuals with inherited mutations in TP53 and BRCA1/2.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (PhD, MD/PhD, MD or equivalent)
- Strong background in genomics, molecular biology and bioinformatics
- Background in mouse genetics and mouse models of cancer is preferred but not required
