Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Scientist
About the role
The Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Scientist position is located within the Psychology department at Fordham University's Rose Hill campus. Responsibilities
- Constructs surveys needed for the study.
- Collections and analyzes data.
- Publishes publications and presents at conferences.
- Applies for additional funding.
- Mentors graduate and undergraduate lab members.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or relevant social science.
- Minimum of one year of experience with at least one large, longitudinal dataset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a collaborative research laboratory environment.
- Expertise with marginalized groups (e.g., ethnicity, race, immigration status, gender, sexual orientation, and weight).
- Experience with multi-level methods (e.g., experience sampling, longitudinal surveys, biomarkers, observational methods, experimental designs, interviews, focus groups).

Pay
Starting salary range: $62,232 - $65,640. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
Schedule
The position is renewable contingent on funding and is scheduled for 35 hours per week.
