Postdoctoral Fellow in Skeletal Biology, Bioinformatics, and Regenerative Medicine

Description

The Embree Lab is recruiting a talented and highly motivated Postdoctoral Scientist to contribute to our NIH-funded research program in skeletal biology, osteoarthritis, pain biology, joint function, and regenerative medicine. Our group integrates mouse genetics, large-animal models, biomaterials, single-cell and spatial sequencing, and bioinformatics to uncover the cellular and molecular mechanisms governing joint development, degeneration, pain behaviors, and functional outcomes.

Qualifications

  • PhD, MD/PhD, DDS/PhD, DMD/PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree
  • Preferred expertise in bioengineering, developmental/stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, bioinformatics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated record of scientific productivity, including peer-reviewed publications
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and/or programming languages such as R or Python is desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to scientific rigor, innovation, and mentorship
