Postdoctoral Associate, Interdisciplinary Legal Studies

The Baldy Center for Law and Social Policy and the University at Buffalo School of Law invite applications for two Postdoctoral Associates in Interdisciplinary Legal Studies. These full-time appointments are designed for highly promising early-career scholars who hold a doctoral degree and seek to advance a strong, independent research agenda within a vibrant, interdisciplinary academic environment.

About the role

• Pursue an independent program of research and scholarship focused on issues in law, legal institutions, and/or social policy
• Actively engage in collaborative scholarship with faculty and researchers affiliated with the Baldy Center, the School of Law, and the University at Buffalo

Requirements

• Hold a doctoral degree
• Seek to advance a strong, independent research agenda

• Strong promise as an independent scholar
• Research focus on issues in law, legal institutions, and/or social policy
• Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and researchers
