Post Sophomore Fellow - Pathology

Job Duties

• Participate in hands-on anatomic pathology activities, including gross examination and microscopic evaluation of surgical pathology specimens under faculty and resident/fellow supervision.
• Assist with intra-operative consultations, including frozen sections.
• Participate in clinical pathology activities and consultations across laboratory medicine disciplines.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the second or third year of medical school accredited by either the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA).
• This position requires enrollment in a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have advanced knowledge, analytical skills and professional competencies necessary to perform the duties of the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at KU School of Medicine.
