About the role

The duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Day to day supervision of test performance and testing personnel tasks.
  • Assure that all the right actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratories established performance specifications.
  • Congnrols staffing needs, training, evaluation, and competency of employees.
  • Maintain optimal cost effectiveness and delivery of testing with accuracy, validity, and reliability.
  • Perform patient testing when necessary to complete laboratory work.
  • Evaluate new instruments, methods, and procedures to keep the laboratory updated.
  • Ensure that all Quality Control measures are conducted and reviewed on a regular schedule.
  • Prepare SOP, validate New Test.
  • Monitor daily QC to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. degree from an accredited college or university.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.
