About the role
Hinshaw & Culbertson, a leading national law firm, seeks a post-graduate law student in its Defense Litigation practice group, awaiting their California bar results. Recent sworn-in attorneys are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Work with a collaborative team representing national and international insurance clients in complex coverage areas such as bad faith, professional liability, pollution, construction defect, personal and advertising injury, cyber liability, and excess liability matters.
- Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation matters.
- Show strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Take on significant responsibilities and be entrusted with a diverse and challenging caseload.
Requirements
- Must have taken the California bar and are waiting for bar results.
- Ideal candidates will have civil litigation experience in both state and federal courts.

Pay
Estimated $120,000 to $140,000. The estimated salary range displayed is specifically for those applicants who will perform work in California if selected for the role and is not applicable to other locations. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary range, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, or certifications.

Hybrid work arrangements, allowing you to work from both the office and remotely.
