Post-Doctoral Research Fellow - Hsieh Lab

Responsibilities

The applicant will utilize murine and human genetics, whole transcriptome ribosome profiling, MSR-seq, functional genomics, RNA labeling/sequencing techniques, TMT mass spectrometry, various cellular and molecular assays, and a one-of-a-kind biorepository of primary and metastatic human prostate and bladder cancer samples to understand how the translation apparatus controls normal physiology and promotes cancer phenotypes.

Qualifications

• A recent PhD and/or MD with a record of productive research
• The ability to work independently as well as in collaborative research efforts
• A strong background in murine work, high throughput methods, RNA biology, and/or computational biology are highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
