Post Doctoral Position in High Resolution Digital Image Correlation

What You Need

The candidate should demonstrate exceptional talent with a successful collaborative and scientific track record. They should have expertise in high resolution digital image correlation of SEM images, digital image correlation analysis, mechanical testing, and knowledge of metals deformation behavior.

What You Need (Desired Qualifications)

• Experience within situ SEM mechanical testing.
• Experience with analyzing slip, twinning, and grain boundary sliding.
• Experience with metallographic preparation for DIC.
• Experience with advanced DIC algorithms.

Education/Experience

A PhD in nuclear engineering, materials science, physics, chemistry, or a related engineering discipline completed within the last 5 years or soon to be completed.
