About the role

The positions will be based at the Rutgers’ School of Engineering located in Piscataway, NJ. We seek highly motivated individuals with a solid scientific background in areas relevant to Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. Specifically, in process analytical tools (PAT) implemented in-at-on-line for processes involving continuous manufacturing of solid dose powder based pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze spectroscopic data to build predictive models
• Exercise supervision of professional research staff including undergraduate and graduate students
• Interact and report to the principal investigator and to the sponsor in weekly or bi-weekly meetings
• Publish and present research findings
• Participate in the preparation of grants/fellowships/manuscripts

Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related scientific fields
• Experience and knowledge managing and analyzing spectroscopic data to build predictive models
• Ability to work independently and on time-sensitive projects
• Excellent personal and communication skills, being a positive leader and excellent team player

Qualifications

• Strong scientific background in areas relevant to Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
• Experience with process analytical tools (PAT)
• Knowledge of spectroscopic data analysis
