Position Details

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at New Mexico State University invites applicants for a two-year postdoctoral appointment beginning August, 2027. The position will support the research and teaching needs of the department. Individuals interested in contributing to a diverse academic community are particularly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Doctorate degree in related field.
• Required Experience: No previous work experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates must submit basic application materials, including a letter of interest, CV/resume and unofficial transcripts. These same documents along with a minimum of three letters of reference (at least one addressing teaching), a teaching statement and a research statement should also be submitted online through www.mathjobs.org.
