About the role
A postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Wenqing Zhou.
Responsibilities
- Elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms that establish immune tolerance to the microbiota.
- Explore how dysregulation of these pathways contributes to diseases and disorders in the gut and beyond.
- Develop novel approaches to restore gut homeostasis and treat human diseases.
Requirements
- Hold a Ph.D. in immunology, microbiology, or a related biomedical science, obtained within the past two years.
- Strong technical proficiency in immunological methods.
- Demonstrated record of research productivity, including at least one first-author publication.
- Prior experience with flow cytometry and in vivo mouse models is advantageous but not required.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated doctoral-level scientist interested in intestinal immunology and host-microbiome interactions.
Skills
- Strong technical proficiency in immunological methods.
- Demonstrated research productivity, including at least one first-author publication.

Pay
