About the Role

The Humphries Lab in the Division of Innate Immunity at UMass Chan Medical School is seeking two highly motivated postdoctoral associates to investigate immunometabolism, virology, and neuroscience. The lab focuses on elucidating cellular and molecular mechanisms of innate immune responses, particularly immunometabolism and cell death, and their role in disease pathogenesis. Research is supported by three NIH awards (R01AI201773, R01AI199543, R21AI193655) and startup funds from UMass Chan.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in immunology or a related biomedical science, obtained within the past two years.
• Strong technical proficiency in immunological methods.
• Demonstrated record of research productivity, including at least one first-author publication.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with in vivo mouse models is advantageous but not required.
