Post Closing Specialist II

About the Role

As a Post Closing Specialist II at InterLinc Mortgage, you are a trusted professional who plays a critical role in all aspects of the loan process after closing: including receiving, shipping, insuring, and clearing investor suspense conditions. This role is both highly detail-oriented and highly relational. You will provide concierge-level customer service by ensuring all closing packages and collateral are received, uploaded, audited, corrected, and shipped within stated Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will provide support to your team by serving as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for your department — providing guidance and support on complex questions, issues, or procedures. By acting as the first point of escalation for team concerns, your goal will be to resolve issues when possible, prior to manager involvement. Overall, you will serve as a key point of contact projecting professionalism, warmth, and a solutions-focused mindset with every interaction.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the mortgage industry.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Some team lead experience is a plus.
