Responsibilities
- Manage the final steps required to finalize a real estate settlement.
- Ensure all monies have been disbursed and delivered, the recordation of the documents occurs timely, and that all final documents are delivered to the transaction parties in a timely manner.
- Communicate with all parties to resolve and finalize all items after closing.
- Data entry of all transaction details into proprietary system.
- Review final documentation to verify all items were disbursed, executed, and notarized in compliance with internal procedures and client instructions.
- Verify file disbursements are in balance and post checks as needed.
- Submit documentation for recording via online recording service or directly with local recorders office.
- Follow up to ensure all documents are on record within required time frame.
- Prepare final documentation packages for parties to transaction and deliver per client's requirements.
- Manage and resolve post-closing inquiries or post-closing errors.
- Manage and resolve accounting items such as 1099, trial balance, and outstanding checks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must demonstrate an ability to handle multiple tasks while managing a full pipeline of loans in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
- Must be detail-oriented with proficiency in alpha-numeric data entry and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Must possess an active NJ title insurance producer license or be licensable through the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance.
- Must be a friendly, outgoing, well-organized person with a strong work ethic who creates a positive image of the company through professional appearance, actions, and conduct.
- Must establish a professional working rapport with clients, maintain high quality and productivity standards, and meet team metrics.
- Experience with post-closing, processing, or closing of real estate transactions is strongly preferred.
Benefits
- The Schedule for this position is: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Mandatory overtime is required, including Saturdays if needed.
- This position is: Onsite in Mount Laurel, NJ.
- The Length of assignment: 3-month temporary assignment.
