Post Clerkship - Patent Litigation Associate

About the role

This position is for judicial clerks looking to join Fish immediately following the completion of their clerkship. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in science, engineering, mathematics or closely related fields, preferably Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or advanced degrees in life sciences. They should have 2+ years of patent litigation experience and an active membership in the state bar.

Requirements

• A strong background in science, engineering, mathematics or closely related fields, preferably Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or advanced degrees in life sciences.
• 3-5 years of patent litigation experience.
• An active membership in the state bar and compliance with CLE requirements.

Skills

• Strong background in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, material science, or closely related field.
• Strong English and Japanese language skills (for the position requiring both).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Pay

• The salary range for this position is $225,000 - $310,000. The salary offered will depend upon qualifications and experience, and will be adjusted for flex-time schedules.
