Post Clerkship - Patent Litigation Associate

About the role

This position is for judicial clerks looking to join Fish immediately following the completion of their clerkship. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in science, engineering, mathematics, or closely related fields, preferably Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or advanced degrees in life sciences. They should also have 2+ years of patent litigation experience and be an active member of the state bar with compliance with CLE requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of patent litigation experience.
• An active membership in the state bar and compliance with CLE requirements.

• A strong background in computer science, electrical engineering, or closely related field.
• 3-5 years of patent litigation experience.
• An active membership in the state bar and compliance with CLE requirements.
• Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Thrive when using analytical skills to conduct complex and detailed analysis of legal matters.
• Enjoy communicating with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff.

Pay

• The salary range for this position is $225,000 - $310,000. The salary offered will depend upon qualifications and experience, and will be adjusted for flex-time schedules.
