Job Summary
Positive Support Specialists (PSS) work in our Intensive Community Residential Services (ICRS) programs. These programs serve individuals with intensive medical, behavioral, and mental health needs. We utilize a person-centered approach to support individuals in reaching their goals while ensuring safety.
Shifts
- Tuesday-Saturday, 3pm - 10pm
- Sunday-Thursday, 3pm - 10pm
- E/O Saturday and Sunday, 8am - 3pm
- E/O Friday - Monday, 3pm - 10pm

Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must physically be able to stand, squat, bend, or walk for long periods of time.
- Knowledge of local community resources is a plus.
- Must be cleared by a Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) background study and have a driver's license - a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) is also required.
Qualifications
- Minimum education is a high school diploma, but a degree in a field relevant to this role is preferred.
- Minimum experience is 1-2 years of working with people with complex needs, but 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
