About the role
The Positive Behaviour Specialist will provide support to individuals with disabilities in their homes, schools, and community settings. They will work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to develop and implement positive behavior plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized positive behavior support plans
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities to improve their social skills and behaviors
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in behavior support strategies
- Conduct assessments and gather data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior support plans
- Train and mentor other staff members in positive behavior support techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of positive behavior support principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (for travel)
Qualifications
- Experience with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, or other developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Skills

- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Salary range: €30,000 - €40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
Schedule
Wholetime position, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
