Job Responsibilities

• Actively engaging the children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (e.g., transitioning to solids, learning to walk, potty training, etc).
• Tummy time, reading, etc.
• Diaper changes and supporting healthy hygiene.
• Bottle feedings and the sterilization of the bottles and baby equipment.
• Maintaining the child’s nap and eating schedules.
• Child’s laundry.
• Meal preparation for the children.
• Taking the child on walks, to parks, and eventually to playdates and activities.
• Keeping the home’s main spaces and the child’s room clean and tidy.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant nanny experience with infants.
• Experience with school-aged children.
• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
• 2-3 relevant references.
• Flexible with scheduling on weekends and with travel to the Hamptons
• Resides within a reasonable commuting distance from Soho.
• Up to date with Flu vaccinations.
• CPR certified (or willing to get it renewed)

Compensation and Benefits

• $40.00 + gross per hour, depending on the right candidate’s experience, flexibility, and credentials.
• Overnight rate of $150.00 when traveling.
• 2-3 sick days per year.
• One weekend of PTO per year.
• Payment for weekends not worked.
