Job Responsibilities

• Everything involving the safety, care, and well-being of the child.
• Guiding the parents on best care practices while supporting the parent’s decisions.
• Create a sleep and feeding schedule.
• Diaper and clothes changes as needed.
• Maintain overall healthy hygiene of the baby.
• The baby’s laundry.
• Equipment sterilization.
• Keep the baby’s room and bathroom clean and tidy.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment for the baby.
• Provide a list of suggestions for the baby’s room and for baby-related products.
• Use skilled and proven techniques to soothe the baby and establish a calm environment.
• Track the overnight routine (baby’s eating, sleeping, and behavioral patterns).

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant NCS/ Night Nurse experience.
• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
• Proactive, supportive, and neat, clean, orderly.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent references.
• Trained in Infant CPR and First Aid.
• Fully Vaccinated (covid, Tdap, Flu, MMR)
• Live within a reasonable distance from Astoria.

Pay

$40-45.00 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
