Job Description

As a Ports & Maritime Structural Engineer at Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in addressing critical infrastructure challenges related to waterfront and marine facilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering with an emphasis on concrete and steel structures.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within one year.
  • Proficiency with structural analysis software and familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or Revit.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design of marine and waterfront structures in accordance with industry codes and standards.
  • Prepare structural calculations, design reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Lead or contribute to condition assessments, field investigations, and construction support services.
  • Cookordination with internal teams, subconsultants, contractors, clients, and agencies/stakeholders.
