About the role

Divurgent is seeking an experienced Portfolio Operations Coordinator to provide hands‑on project delivery and operational support across a large Health Applications portfolio. The individual will support the Projects & Portfolio Advisor and Portfolio Managers with governance preparation, project intake, resource coordination, contract/SOW review, meeting management, reporting, and portfolio tooling adoption. This is a coordination and execution role rather than a strategic or project‑ownership role. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, comfortable working across technical and operational teams, and able to turn incomplete or complex information into clear, actionable deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Support governance and demand review activities, including assembling project/demand packages, validating documentation, identifying gaps, and preparing materials for leadership review.
  • Review resource assessments, project documentation, contracts, and SOWs to identify potential financial, resource, integration, or business‑term concerns and escalate appropriately.
  • Support project intake and readiness activities to ensure new initiatives are positioned for a successful start.
  • Coordinate recurring portfolio meetings, including agendas, minutes, action items, and follow‑up.
  • Track and advance resource requests and assignments across multiple projects, partnering with Application Leaders and Portfolio Managers.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of ServiceNow SPM, including testing, training, coaching, and user feedback.
  • Maintain portfolio reporting, metrics, trends, and outstanding actions.
  • Support ongoing PMO/portfolio process improvement and training initiatives.

Mandatory Experience

  • Demonstrated experience supporting project, program, portfolio, or PMO operations in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
  • Strong project coordination skills, including tracking deliverables, action items, resource requests, dependencies, and follow‑up.
  • Experience preparing governance, leadership, or executive‑level project materials.
  • Ability to review project documentation, contracts, and/or SOWs and identify relevant business terms, financial considerations, risks, and implementation impacts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and high volumes of project activity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including meeting documentation and development of concise, decision‑ready materials.
  • Strong proficiency with project/portfolio management tools and ability to quickly learn new technology and processes.

Preferred Experience

  • Healthcare IT or health system experience.
  • Experience supporting an enterprise applications or Health Applications portfolio.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
  • Experience with vendor integrations and/or third‑party application implementations.
  • Familiarity with Epic environments.
  • Familiarity with PMI/PMBOK practices; CAPM or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting PPM tool implementations, adoption, testing, or end‑user training.
  • Experience using AI‑enabled or prompt‑driven tools to support documentation, review, or operational workflows.

Team & Culture

Divurgent’s ELITE Values – Excellence, Learning, Innovation, Trust, Enthusiasm – drive a culture where real people, not just “resources,” are the core of success. The company emphasizes evaluation, maintenance, and improvement of its culture, aiming for employees, recruits, clients, prospects, and even competitors to feel and believe in it. The team is described as professional, somewhat quirky, and deeply committed to the mission of digital acceleration in healthcare.
