About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to support a commercial and middle market team onsite.
Responsibilities
- Lead loan analysis, underwriting, origination, and portfolio management
- Utilize risk assessment and mitigation skills applying the bank’s risk grading methodology
- Manage relationships with C&I and CRE borrowers
- Partner with Relationship Managers to develop lending proposals and identify cross‑sell opportunities
- Oversee post‑approval due diligence and loan documentation
- Build and maintain a high‑value client portfolio
- Mentor junior team members and delegate tasks
Qualifications
- 6‑8 years of commercial underwriting and portfolio management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Skills
- Strong financial analysis, legal document interpretation, and decision‑making skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills
- Strong organizational and customer service abilities
