Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a project portfolio aligned with organizational goals
- Prioritize projects with directors based on business needs and resource limitations
- Optimize resource allocation for project efficiency
- Establish governance processes for project consistency and accountability
- Manage project timelines and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery
- Collaborate with teams to identify and mitigate project risks
- Enhance project management practices through process improvements
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a Portfolio Manager or similar role
- PMP certification from PMI
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills with proven success in managing complex project portfolios
- Experience with complex VMware programs and stakeholder coordination
- Background in working with global financial customers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information effectively
- Strong data analytical and computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint, PowerPoint) and expert knowledge of MS Project

Pay
$145,600 – $182,000 annually
