Portfolio Manager

Overview

East West Bank is currently seeking a Portfolio Manager for the Commercial Real Estate Banking team.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial statements addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, loan structuring, pricing and credit analysis for recommendation to manager on lending decisions
• Makes recommendation on structure of credit for approval
• Credits monitoring
• Develops solutions for problem loan credit
• Responsible for credit risk and quality of portfolio
• Portfolio Management
• Maintains & expands client relationship
• Manages loan renewal process
• Business Development
• Participates in community and business functions
• Develops other deposits services relationship
• May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and directly related experience
• 2+ years of banking experience
• Strong understanding of credit policy and procedures and is able to accurately risk-rate loans/credits, evaluates both cash-flow and collateral-based loans/credits
• Develops problem loan credit solutions
• Strong knowledge base in Treasury, FX and Derivative products and have demonstrated abilities in coordinating the resources of the bank to bring effective full service solutions to the company

Pay

The base pay range for this position is USD $75,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
