About the Role
Portfolio Management involves shock-proofing and arranging financial assets to provide profitable returns, absorb losses, and multiply profits. A Portfolio Manager evaluates investor profiles and policies, juxtaposes them with the investment market, and executes plans to realize optimal profits. They help investors decide whether growth or capital safety is more important and how to balance risk and reward trade-offs.
A portfolio consists of financial assets such as cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other company investments. The role of a Portfolio Manager is to manage these assets to extract profits, reduce investment risk, and stabilize underperformance.
Qualifications
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential, highly respected and considered one of the most difficult certifications to obtain.
- Proficient understanding of Quantitative, Financial, Accounting, Economic, and Business principles.
- MBA with a specialization in Finance, demonstrating interest in Capital Markets and Investments.
