Manager Portfolio Management
About the role
This role is based at one of our corporate offices in Dallas, TX or McLean, VA. You will be part of an in-house Technology team creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies that revolutionize the hospitality industry. As a Manager of Portfolio Management, you will support portfolio planning, demand management, prioritization, portfolio tooling, and strategic timeline management across Hilton's Technology and Customer Experience organizations.
Responsibilities
- Support portfolio planning and demand management activities that improve visibility into strategic technology work, prioritization decisions, and progress against key priorities.
- Help manage demand intake, prioritization, planning, sequencing, and timeline updates for portfolio work across Technology and Customer Experience.
- Support enhancements to portfolio tools, including Jira and ServiceNow, to improve traceability from request through delivery.
- Review portfolio data and process feedback to recommend improvements to planning, governance, forecasting, and executive reporting practices.
Collaboration
- Partner with Technology, Customer Experience, field leaders, and portfolio partners to understand requirements, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
- Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategic initiatives, prioritize demand, manage dependencies, and support delivery across key programs and projects.
- Coordinate with portfolio team members, including full-time Team Members and contractors, to maintain clear access to strategic work information.
Deliverables
- Portfolio planning inputs, prioritization recommendations, timeline updates, and reporting that connect strategic priorities to active work across Hilton's portfolio.
- Tooling, governance, and process improvement recommendations that improve visibility, traceability, forecasting, and decision support across portfolio deliverables.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field.
- Four (4) years of work experience in Portfolio Planning, Governance, or Technology Program Management.
- This is a hybrid role and requires being near our Dallas or McLean office.
- Travel up to 20% to Hilton offices in Dallas, Memphis, and McLean.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience.
- Seven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field.
- Six (6) + years of experience in Portfolio Planning, Governance, or Technology Program Management.
- Three (3) years of management-level experience.
- Experience using Jira, Airtable, or similar portfolio management tools to track work, requests, and delivery status.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $85,000 – $120,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. You will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
