Portfolio Director
The Portfolio Director is responsible for organizing a series of work into a single portfolio consisting of reports that capture project objectives, costs, timelines, accomplishments, resources, risks and other critical factors for project delivery and budget forecasting on a short, medium, and long-term basis.

- Alternate locations may be considered for candidates residing within commuting distance from an office.

Responsibilities
- Leads strategic project planning and annual budgeting.
- Ensures project objectives are met and budget aligns with IT budget objectives.
- Aligns specific organization’s project plan of record and annual goal objectives with annual operating budget.
- Develops relationships with the business and manages portfolio and project activities.
- Evaluates impacts of changes from original portfolio plans across multiple projects.
- Directs and coordinates budget activities of multiple projects.
- Partners with vendors for service delivery and technology solutions.
- Determines future systems direction for both internally developed and vendor-maintained systems.
- Performs feasibility studies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in organizing large-size projects into a single portfolio, managing technical systems lifecycle, or related field.
- Master’s degree, multiple trade certifications, or other continuing education preferred.

Requires working at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week.
