Porter- Weekly Pay + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in various areas of the facility
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces to provide a comfortable environment for everyone
• Assist with the removal of trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal methods are followed
• Support minor maintenance and repair tasks as needed, reporting any significant issues to the supervisor
• Help set up and take down equipment for events or meetings, ensuring that all areas are arranged properly
• Monitor and maintain janitorial supplies, notifying management of low inventory
• Provide excellent customer service by being friendly and assisting guests with inquiries

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in janitorial or custodian work is advantageous
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility in schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
