Porter / Lot Attendant CDL with Passenger Endorsement

About the role

The Lot Attendant is responsible for moving trucks and organizing the lot to ensure smooth traffic flow, increase customer convenience, and maintain an orderly service area.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Advisors by greeting customers and moving vehicles through the lot efficiently.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and tags in all vehicles taken in for service.
• Inspect and record any vehicle damage on the repair order when the vehicle is taken in for service.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their designated spots in the service parking lot in a timely manner.
• Deliver keys and repair order hard copies as instructed by the Service Manager after parking a vehicle.
• Ensure all vehicles in the service parking lot are locked and windows are rolled up.
• Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the Service Department.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the Cashier.
• Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have occurred during its stay and report any damage to management immediately.
• Remove seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and I.D. tabs before returning a completed vehicle to the customer.
• Inspect vehicles for grease spots, stains, or debris and clean them using specified materials and techniques.
• Thank customers courteously when delivering completed vehicles and express appreciation for their business.
• Maintain the parking lot in a neat, organized manner and keep it free of debris at all times.
• Continuously rearrange vehicles for easy accessibility.
• Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in common areas of the facilities.
• Conduct limited grounds maintenance such as trimming hedges and cleaning sidewalks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (CDL and passenger endorsement required).
