Porter Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning common areas of the facility and Resident rooms
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
- Ensures that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
- Removal of trash & soiled linens
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
- Housekeeper must be able to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment
- Must be able to work as a team member with other Housekeepers assigned to the facility
- Remain positive and caring, and act in the best interest of our patients
- Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
- All Housekeepers must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
- Reliable and keep to a schedule
- May need to work a varied schedule, as requested
- Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
