About the role

Be part of something exciting at the brand-new Sports Club at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club! As one of Northeast Florida's premier luxury resorts and private clubs, we're redefining the wellness experience with state-of-the-art fitness facilities, beautiful gathering spaces, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Sports Club, including fitness areas, lobby, locker rooms, studios, hallways, and public restrooms.
• Ensure towels, amenities, and supplies are fully stocked throughout the day.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Keep floors, windows, furniture, and common areas immaculate.
• Respond promptly to spills and maintenance concerns to ensure a safe environment.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Provide friendly, professional assistance to members and guests while maintaining Forbes Five-Star service standards.
• Work closely with the Sports Club and Housekeeping teams to maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English to communicate effectively with members, guests, and fellow team members.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Hospitality, fitness club, country club, or luxury resort experience is a plus.
• A positive attitude and passion for customer service.

Job Knowledge

• Familiarity with cleaning procedures and sanitation practices.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Understanding of professional etiquette and guest service.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift.
• Lift and carry up to 35 pounds, including cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Safely operate vacuums, mops, and other housekeeping equipment.
• Work with cleaning chemicals while following all safety procedures.

• Flexible availability required.
