Housekeeping Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning common areas of the facility and Resident rooms
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
• Ensures that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
• Removal of trash & soiled linens
• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
• Must be able to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment
• Must be able to work as a team member with other Housekeepers assigned to the facility
• Must have a solid work ethic with initiative for quality and customer service
• Must remain positive and caring, and act in the best interest of our patients
• Must report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor

Qualifications and Experience

• All Housekeepers must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
• Must be reliable and keep to a schedule
• May need to work a varied schedule, as requested
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
