Porter/Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Ensure the tidy appearance of the property by physically walking the premises.
• Notify manager of any diseased, dying or dead landscape plantings.
• Sweep/Transfer any loose trash, animal droppings, etc. into a proper receptacle.
• Clear paths and walkways of loose grass, or clear weeds as they surface.
• Maintain lighting around the property.
• Repair and replace windows, screens, sliding glass doors, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance on the property as requested.
• Pressure wash sidewalks, driveways and stairwells as needed.
• Distribute resident communications, i.e. upcoming events, pest control notices, newsletters, etc.

Requirements

• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be receptive and observant.
• Must be conscious to general safety/sanitary procedures when performing tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, bend, or stand for extended periods of time.
