About the role

SSP America operates a diverse portfolio of popular restaurants at Newark Liberty International Airport, including Flavortown, Jersey Mike’s, Mediterranean Grill, Sora Sushi, Smokehouse, and many more. We’re looking for a Porter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated, and enjoys being part of a strong team. As a Porter, you’ll play a key role in supporting our restaurants and ensuring operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Transport products between storage areas and restaurants.
• Store products correctly according to temperature and space requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness of restaurants, storage areas, and equipment.
• Remove refuse and transport unused or soiled items for cleaning.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support the team.

Requirements

• 1+ years of prior experience in a food service, warehouse, stock, or porter role preferred.
• Reliable, energetic, and self-motivated.
• Team player who takes pride in maintaining high standards and productivity.
