Porter

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager or Supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness of all interior and exterior areas, including restrooms, storage areas, walkways, and common spaces
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and maintained with proper supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.)
• Support general maintenance and minor repair tasks as needed
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Respond promptly to guest or staff requests regarding cleanliness or safety concerns
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Monitor facility conditions and report any issues or hazards to management
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, housekeeping, or porter experience preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and sanitation best practices
• Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Working Conditions

• Active, physically demanding role requiring regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor environments, including different temperatures and weather conditions
• May involve working on wet or slippery floors, handling cleaning agents, and operating basic maintenance equipment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Extended shifts and weekend or holiday hours may be required to meet operational needs

Pay

Pay Range: $17 - $18 per hour
