Responsibilities

• Add and subtract two digit numbers and perform multiplication and division with units of U.S. currency and weight, volume, and distance.
• Work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Safely use basic maintenance and landscape related hand tools and light power tools.
• Understand English well enough to read and comply with safety instructions for cleaning equipment.
• Provide cleaning services for business offices, apartments, interior and exterior public and common areas and amenities of the community.
• Provide floor care services for carpet, tile, and wood floors.
• Compact and remove trash and debris from community areas.
• Maintain all grounds including sidewalks, public walkways, stairways, building exteriors, and garden areas.
• Perform basic maintenance related work requests.
• Mow lawns, trim shrubbery, cultivate flowers (varies by community).
• Notify management of repair needs.
• Report potentially unsafe conditions to Supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
• Dealt with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Deal with caustic materials and cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand English well enough to read and comply with safety instructions for cleaning equipment.

Skills

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Use of basic maintenance and landscape tools
• Reading and understanding safety instructions
• English language proficiency
