About the role

We're seeking a talented Porter to join our team. This position involves maintaining the grounds, amenities, and building exteriors of our properties, ensuring they are clean and appealing to attract residents.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Auxiliary tasks include preparing market-ready units, pressure washing exteriors, assisting with emergencies, cleaning apartments, addressing maintenance concerns, and promoting customer satisfaction.
• Interact courteously and professionally with residents and visitors.
• Maintain confidentiality and promote a positive environment.
• Report and address maintenance and safety issues promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform policy.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Completion of Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including shoveling snow and applying ice melt.
• Passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal.

• Ability to operate a commercial snow blower.

Pay

$19 to $21 per hour.
