About the role
We're seeking a talented Porter to join our team. This position involves maintaining the grounds, amenities, and building exteriors of our properties, ensuring they are clean and appealing to attract residents.
Responsibilities
- Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
- Auxiliary tasks include preparing market-ready units, pressure washing exteriors, assisting with emergencies, cleaning apartments, addressing maintenance concerns, and promoting customer satisfaction.
- Interact courteously and professionally with residents and visitors.
- Maintain confidentiality and promote a positive environment.
- Report and address maintenance and safety issues promptly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
- Professional appearance and adherence to uniform policy.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Completion of Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including shoveling snow and applying ice melt.
- Passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal.

- Ability to operate a commercial snow blower.

Pay
