Portables Driver
Responsibilities
- Service portable restrooms, hand wash stations, and other company equipment to the expectations that meet or exceed the company’s standards for service
- Complete assigned routes
- Communicate with dispatch as route changes or issues arise
- Maintain and update route sheets
- Conduct pre-trip/post trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain and update drivers log sheets
- Professional interaction with internal and external customers
- Keep truck clean and operating properly within driver’s ability
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand a map
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including prolonged standing, walking, repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing up to 40lbs)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays
- Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate, understand and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals and safety training
- Previous CDL truck driving experience preferred
- Waste industry experience, a plus
Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must comply with all components of the CDL / DOT requirements for safe driving and compliance such as proper license class, medical card and MVR requirements
- Must speak and understand English well enough to communicate, understand and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals and safety training
